The Quik Dry® infrared drying system makes fast printing possible, while drastically reducing the amount of powder normally needed. Ink drying times are productivity's worst enemy. Modern offset presses are increasing their production speed while ink drying times have remained almost unchanged. The Quik Dry™ infrared drying system uses short wave IR lamps to accelerate the oxygenation of the ink. Combined with warm air this effectively dries and stiffens the inks not only on the surface but within the ink as well. Reduced drying time decreases stacks of printed sheets drying all around the valuable floor space of the shop. |
