The Air Blanket® infrared drying system ensures the immediate drying of water-based inks and coatings for in-line finishing. The uniquely designed Air Blanket® litho infrared drying system combines maximum efficiency short wave infrared heat energy and a patented air management system which incorporates high velocity air jets and higher volume air exhaust. The reflectorized short-wave infrared lamps are installed diagonally to the machine direction providing complete heat coverage. The variable intensity lamps can be zoned to specific needs, saving energy.
